Scholarship Criteria

Admission Pathways

Track A: Academic/Professional Background

  • Applicants who hold an advanced degree in psychology, social work, counseling, medicine, education, or a related field qualify directly.

  • Graduate students are also eligible

  • Will earn a Professional Certification (AAIT™ Certified Practitioner): Granted to licensed professionals (therapists, coaches, counselors, clergy, etc.) who complete the training and meet requirements.

Track B: Equivalent Experience

Applicants with a bachelor’s degree or without a degree may qualify by demonstrating:

  • At least 3–5 years of sustained work in healing arts, coaching, ministry, spiritual direction, or community leadership.

  • Evidence of prior training, mentorship, or significant lived experience that has prepared them to engage with advanced psychological and spiritual concepts.

  • A willingness to complete a readiness interview or provide references attesting to their capacity for this work.

  • At least 2 – 3 years of experience working with individuals.

  • Will earn a Community Practitioner Certificate:

    Granted to participants without a professional license who complete the training. This credential affirms their ability to use AAIT™ in personal practice, peer work, or within community and spiritual contexts, while respecting professional scope of practice.
